DL was born and raised in Boston. He worked earlier in his career in both the Boston and New York market. After graduating college, he moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides.
For as long as he can remember acting has been his passion. Having always found a certain wonderment in the power of words, he finds great joy in breathing life into a character…whether is be on an empty stage or into the lens of a camera.
He worked earlier in his career doubling actors like Edward Furlong (Before and After) and Omri Katz (Hocus Pocus). He has worked alongside actors such as Meryl Streep and Liam Neeson and with directors such as Barbet Schroeder, Kenny Ortega, Neil Kinsella, and Kyle Schickner.
Aside from doing print work (i.e. Best Western Hotels) and commercials (i.e. CVS), DL has appeared in such films as Last Night, Killing the Vision, Song of the Carousel, and Strange Fruit.
He has appeared on stages throughout the country. Recent stage work includes: Crossing Delancey, Fools (ADA Nomination – Best Actor), Biloxi Blues, Come Blow Your Horn, Shove, Perfect Wedding (West Coast Premiere - ADA Award for best comedic ensemble), The Mating Game, and Cliffhanger.
Most recently DL has been dabbling in writing and producing (Attack of the Unknown with Richard Grieco and the award winning film Spellbound that is currently in the festival circuit). He spent 2 years working with Christine Peters (How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days) and Director Donald Petrie (Grumpy Old Men) to get their film off the ground.
He also received Best Actor TP Award in 2016 for his work on stage in Los Angeles.
